Copying App Token From BlueCats Reveal to BlueCats LitterBox
Input the app token within the Settings page of BC LitterBox.
After entering in the appropriate app token, select the Site which contains the beacons you would like to observe.
After selecting your Site, you are able to listen for beacons which are allocated to that Site and within range of the device. This is shown by the category assigned to the beacon or the last four digits of the beacon's Proximity UUID followed by it's major and minor value (UUID:Major:Minor) flashing with each detection. Switching between observing the category or beacon ID can be done with the selector below the Site name. Above the site name is a range selector that sorts the observed beacons into different proximity ranges.
To receive a notification based on a beacon, press the Notifications button in the bottom right corner of the Site screen. From the Notification screen, press the plus sign at the top right hand corner to add a notification.
Enter in values as you see fit to have a notification appear whenever an announcement is received meeting the particular criteria set. You must have a Category selected to use this feature. When selecting the date and time you MUST use the Done button to close out the date input section. When imputing in criteria move from the top down to avoid a keyboard refresh issue. These bugs will be resolved shortly.
After creating a notification, the current notifications will be shown on the notifications screen. The time is shown in UTC.
And when the conditions are met...voilà!
When changing categories via the web app you must force close the iOS app to refresh the beacon-to-category relationships.
To change the categories to which beacons are assigned, go to the Beacons tab in the BlueCats web app and categories to your beacons from the beacon entry area.
